Drivers Lab was founded in 2023 by professional racing drivers Dan Wells and Oscar Lee. The idea was straightforward: build the facility they wish had existed when they were coming up through the ranks.
Every product, every coaching method, and every piece of technology at Drivers Lab has been selected with one question in mind: does this actually make a driver faster?

Co-founder & Partner
Dan Wells
Dan Wells is a seasoned professional in the racing world as a driver, coach, manager, race team owner, and a pivotal component of the Drivers Lab team. Wells is a championship winner with ten wins in the Asian Formula Renault Championship, and also claimed championship wins in both the 2023 and 2024 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia, where he secured the Pro-Am title, the Pro title, and the team's title.
Dan has an intimate understanding of translating simulator to on-track car control. Within 18 months of starting his racing career, he was lining up alongside future Formula One drivers including Carlos Sainz, Daniil Kvyat, and Oliver Rowland. His first entry into the Macau Grand Prix resulted in a second-place finish, announced him as a serious international talent.
His transition to GT racing was equally successful when he teamed up with
his Drivers Lab partner, the American-Taiwanese driver Oscar Lee. Dan and Oscar decided to take their winning partnership from the track into the business world when they opened Drivers Lab Dubai following their 2023 Pro-Am championship title in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia.

Oscar Lee
Oscar Lee is an American-Taiwanese driver and brings to the team meaningful insight into what it takes to coach a young, inexperienced driver to the skill level necessary to raise the winner's trophy on the top step of the podium. His podiums and winning achievements in Chinese F4, Asian Formula Renault and GT4 are testament to his dedication, skill and resilience, which he brings to the team.
Dan and Oscar's partnership may have culminated with a class Championship title in Lamborghini Super Trofeo, but their connection began with the young Oscar receiving coaching from Dan in his early career. It is fitting that they should team up to create the Drivers Lab facility, which is all about the communication of skills and knowledge from coach to driver, given that this is exactly the original purpose of them working together some years ago.
His invaluable insights and experience of the driver and coach relationship, evidenced by his professionalism, dedication and determination to see his Drivers Lab clients develop and achieve their full potential.
