— Real World Racing Opportunities
Bridging the gapbetween virtual and real.
The benefits of training on racing simulators include building circuit familiarity, refining driving technique and preparing more effectively for real-world track driving. In a controlled and repeatable environment, drivers can work specifically on racing lines, braking references, throttle application, consistency and racecraft, supported by onboard video, telemetry data and 1-to-1 coaching. These learnings can then be transferred into the real car. At Drivers Lab, we can also manage and organise real-world track driving opportunities and support racing career progression.
Our extensive network of racing team connections, industry relationships, and expert coaching enables us to translate simulator training into practical, on-track performance.
The transition from simulator to track is an exciting and pivotal moment for drivers of all ages, but it comes with increased responsibility. While mistakes in a simulator may be frustrating, errors on the track carry real consequences. For this reason, we only facilitate the transition once we are satisfied that the risks have been minimised, and the driver has shown the necessary ability, discipline, and awareness.

— Our Process
A structured pathfrom simulator to starting grid.
At Drivers Lab, sim-to-track development follows a structured process that prepares drivers to transfer the skills developed in the simulator into real-world racing.
It begins with intensive simulator training and 1-to-1 coaching, where drivers work on racing lines, braking references, throttle application, car control, racecraft and decision-making. Telemetry data and onboard analysis are used to identify areas for improvement and track progress throughout the programme.
Once the driver demonstrates the required level of consistency, discipline, awareness and technical ability, we can help arrange suitable real-world track driving or testing opportunities. This allows drivers to apply what they have learned in the simulator in a real car and continue their development on track.
Safety remains a priority throughout the process. Before progressing to real-world driving, we ensure the driver has developed the necessary awareness, responsibility and understanding of risk required for the next stage.

Stage 01
Simulator Coaching & Assessment
The journey begins with intensive simulator coaching, where drivers refine their skills, race craft, and decision-making. Our structured training replicates real-world racing scenarios, ensuring drivers develop both technical ability and race awareness. Regular performance evaluations help assess progress and determine readiness for the next stage.
Stage 02
Aptitude & Responsibility Check
Racing requires more than just speed, it demands discipline, consistency, and responsibility. We closely monitor each driver's approach, ensuring they demonstrate the right mindset and maturity. Understanding the risks and expectations of real-world motorsport is crucial before moving forward.
Stage 03
Risk Minimisation & Safety Preparation
Safety is a top priority. Drivers undergo focused training on safety protocols and track awareness to minimise risks. Simulated race scenarios help develop reaction skills, ensuring they are fully prepared for the challenges of real-world racing.
Stage 04
Track Introduction & Coaching
Once deemed ready, drivers transition to carefully managed on-track sessions. Expert coaching helps them adapt to real-world driving dynamics, ensuring a smooth and controlled introduction to track racing.
Stage 05
Career Progression & Continued
For those pursuing a motorsport career, development does not stop at the track. Ongoing racing opportunities and continued simulator practice remain essential for maintaining and enhancing performance at every stage.
Optional Track & Test Day Support
When you are ready to take the next step, Drivers Lab can also assist with arranging track days and test programmes as an additional service. From initial circuit experience at Dubai Autodrome to testing at Yas Marina Circuit and circuits across the wider region, our team can help coordinate the right opportunity around your experience, goals and racing pathway.
For drivers competing or developing internationally, we can also support test-day arrangements at circuits around the world through our network of teams, coaches and motorsport partners.
Whether it is your first time transferring simulator skills into a real car or preparation for an upcoming championship, the objective remains the same: arrive on track with greater familiarity, clearer references and more confidence from the first session.
